DBCIC director attends “National Seminar on Museums & Intangible Heritage”

National-Seminar-Museums-Intangible-HeritageShillong, February 24, 2015: Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures (DBCIC) director Fr. (Dr.) PV Joseph attends the ongoing “National Seminar on Museums & Intangible Heritage” organised by Indian Museum Kolkata, Ministry of Culture, Government of India as part of NEMP (North East Museums Programme) in Kolkata from February 23-24, 2015.

As part of the participants, Fr. (Dr.) PV Joseph will also be presenting the outcome of the “Workshop on Museums, Indigenous People and Living Heritage” that was recently held at SILOAM, Barapani, Shillong at the National Seminar. The capacity building workshop was specifically designed for participants from Tribal Museums, Cultural Centres and responsible agencies from North East India.
